Terms of Service
Last updated: July 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of Go Notifier ("Go Notifier", "we", "us"), a group-coordination app operated by an independent developer. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
The service
Go Notifier lets a leader create a trip, invite participants with a trip code, run roll-calls, send a "buzz" alert to a participant's phone, post a schedule, and send messages, to help coordinate a group. The app is a coordination aid — it does not replace a leader's own judgment, supervision, or an in-person head count.
Accounts
- Leaders create an account with a name, email, and password, and must provide accurate information.
- Participants join with a name and password using a leader's trip code; no email is required.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — for example, not to use it unlawfully, to harass others, to attempt to breach its security, or to disrupt it. Leaders are responsible for how they use the app with their group, including obtaining any consents required by law (such as for minors).
The "buzz" and notifications — important limits
The buzz and notification features depend on devices, networks, operating systems, and third-party services we don't control. We cannot guarantee that a notification or buzz will always be delivered, be heard, or reach a device that is off, silent, out of battery, out of signal, or has notifications disabled. Do not rely on Go Notifier as the only way to reach or locate a person, especially in an emergency.
Plans and payment
Go Notifier offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Free use is limited (for example, one active free trip at a time and a participant cap, as described in the app). The Pro subscription — billed monthly or annually — unlocks more trips, unlimited classes, unlimited participants, and all features for as long as it is active. If a subscription is cancelled or lapses, access continues until the end of the period you already paid for; after that, trips beyond your one free trip are paused (locked) and become read-only, but your data is never deleted — resubscribing restores full access instantly. Trips purchased earlier under the one-time per-trip option remain paid for those specific trips and are not affected. On the web and Android, payment is processed by Paddle; by purchasing there you also agree to Paddle's terms as the seller of record where applicable. On iOS, subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store In-App Purchase and billed to your Apple ID; Apple's terms apply to those purchases, and iOS subscriptions are managed or cancelled in your device settings (Apple ID ▸ Subscriptions). Prices are shown at checkout or in the app's purchase screen. Except where required by law, payments made via Paddle are non-refundable; refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We may change pricing for future purchases.
Leader responsibility
A leader is responsible for the safety and supervision of their group. Go Notifier helps coordinate, but the leader remains responsible for their participants, for the accuracy of what they enter, and for any required permissions or consents. We are not responsible for how a leader runs their trip or supervises their group.
Rally / location sharing
Rally is an optional feature that lets a leader share a meeting point and lets a group self-report arrival. It is provided "as is," and the following limits apply:
- Location is approximate. Accuracy depends on the device, its operating system, the permissions granted, and the surroundings — indoors or in dense areas it can be off by tens of metres. Treat the meeting point as a guide, not an exact position.
- The app does not provide navigation. Opening directions hands off to a third-party maps app, which you use under that app's own terms. We are not responsible for its routing or accuracy.
- "On my way" and "arrived" are self-reports. They reflect what a participant taps, not a confirmed or verified location.
- The leader remains responsible for the group. Rally is a coordination aid, not a replacement for the leader's supervision or an in-person head count.
- Not for emergencies. Do not rely on Rally as the only way to locate a person, especially in an emergency.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but provide it "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or interruptions, to the extent permitted by law.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Notifier is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any failure of a notification, buzz, or coordination feature. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated. You can request deletion of your leader account by contacting us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, make reasonable efforts to notify leaders. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
